Well... the instructions did help me get everything set up, but I had to reread a few parts a couple of times before they really made sense...

I really liked the idea of this garden, and it seemed like everything was supposed to be easy and well-supported when I bought it. But the reality has been frustrating. Parts wear out or break, which is totally expected, but then actually trying to find replacements is way harder than it should be. The website doesn’t make it simple, and support just had me going in circles without much help. For something this expensive, I expected replacement parts to be easy to order, not another whole project

I ordered from Rise Gardens, the shipping experience was just okay. It wasn’t awful or anything, but it definitely wasn’t as quick as I was hoping.
The updates took longer than expected, and there were a couple days where I had no clue what was going on with the package. That part felt unnecessary, especially when tracking is supposed to make things easier.

Once it actually shipped, it moved along without any problems, and everything arrived in good shape. I’m glad nothing was damaged, but I do wish the delivery timing and tracking info had been clearer.

I’ve been using my Rise Garden for a bit now, and it’s been okay overall. The lettuce grew quickly, which my daughter was excited to help pick, but some of the herbs barely took off and stayed really small. I kept up with the water and light settings like the app suggested, so I’m not totally sure what went wrong. We did get a few harvests out of it, so it’s definitely not a bad system, but for the price I expected a little more. It works, just not as consistently as I hoped.

I got my seed pods and, i’m not totally sure what went wrong, but about half of them never sprouted. A couple of them seemed kind of dry when they arrived, though maybe that’s just how they’re supposed to look? Either way, I was expecting better results for the price, so I’m a bit disappointed

The garden looks good and it does what it’s supposed to do, so no complaints there. But my quick gut-check is always, “Would I buy this again at the same price?” probably not. Once you factor in the refills and little extras, it starts feeling expensive fast. It’s a cool, fancy gadget, but for the money, I expected a bit more value

I expected it to be one of those things you can hear humming all night, because apparently that’s just what we’re supposed to accept now. But nope, I can barely hear it running, even when the house is quiet. Happy with how quiet it is, which was a nice surprise.

This was harder to use than I expected. The setup felt confusing, and it got annoying having to verify myself over and over again just to get through it. I just wanted to start using it, but the whole process made it feel like a hassle.

It looked good when we first got it, so I had high hopes. But after just a few months, the plastic pieces started cracking, one of the lights wouldn’t stop flickering, and the pump got loud way sooner than it should have. For what we paid, I really expected it to hold up a lot better. Customer support wasn’t helpful either, which made the whole thing even more frustrating. What a joke, definitely feels like money wasted.

Some of the seeds sprouted just fine, but a good chunk of them never came up at all. For the price, that’s frustrating. What annoyed me more was feeling like nobody really wanted to take ownership or help explain what went wrong, so I was just left disappointed.

I tried getting help with a return and warranty issue, but it felt like I was getting nowhere. The support was really frustrating, and I’m not sure if I just had bad luck or if this is how it usually goes for other people too.

I picked up this water pump for my Rise Garden after noticing things weren’t circulating the way they should. Setting it up was straightforward, though I did have to fiddle with it for a minute to get it seated just right. Once it was in place, the water started flowing steadily and it’s been running well ever since. It’s not completely silent, but it’s more of a soft hum than anything that really bothers me. Overall, I’m happy with it so far, I just wouldn’t complain if it were a little quieter...

I set up my Rise Garden over the weekend and, random side note, I was fully expecting it to take forever, but it really didn’t. The parts were labeled well enough, nothing felt too confusing, and I didn’t have to go hunting for weird tools or ask anyone for help.

The app kind of just kept me moving along, which was nice, and before I knew it I had the water in and the pods ready to go. Also, I love when something actually works the way it says it will. No big headache, just a smooth start overall.

I like that the notifications remind me when it’s time to water my plants, because I do forget sometimes. That said, they can feel a bit excessive every now and then, and I wish there was a little more control over how often they show up.

My plants arrived safe and healthy, even though the shipping box had a small dent on one corner. I was really happy to see how well everything was secured inside, especially the padding around the pots and the way the leaves were protected. You can tell some care went into packing them.

I had a problem with one of my Rise Garden parts and reached out to customer service by email. I’m usually a little cautious with replacement issues because I don’t want to get stuck going back and forth forever, but they replied the next day and it actually felt like they read my message instead of sending a generic response.
It did take a couple of messages to get everything fully figured out, so it wasn’t instant, but they were polite the whole time and got the replacement sent out. Overall, I felt like they handled it responsibly, and I’d feel okay contacting them again if something came up

I started noticing these tiny little bugs, and not long after that, mold began showing up around the pods. I tried cleaning it a few times, but it just kept coming back. it got frustrating...

The lettuce and herbs came out way fresher than anything I’ve been buying at the store lately. The basil actually had a strong flavor too, which made me wonder what the supermarkets have been doing to those sad little plastic-box herbs all this time. A few of the greens were smaller than I expected, but they were still crisp and tasted really good. Overall, I’m happy with it.
